Asus launches VS247H LED backlit monitor in India

ASUS announced the launch of the VS247H monitor, a 24-inch Full HD LCD monitor with 50,000,000:1 contrast ratio and HDMI interface. The monitor has a sturdy stand and slim profile, which ensures stability and durability, without compromising on style. The VS247H also features ASUS Smart Contrast Ratio, which dynamically enhances the display’s contrast by adjusting the luminance of the backlight to achieve the darkest black and brightest white. Asus has priced it at an MRP of Rs.11,900, excluding taxes.

A budget friendly monitor

Along with a Full HD resolution, the monitor also has a 5ms response time, making it good for movies and gaming. Asus haven’t mentioned the panel type being used, so we’ll assume it’s a TN panel. Other than HDMI, we also have the standard DVI-D, D-Sub as well as an earphone jack. The Splendid Video Intelligence Technology in VS247H monitor optimizes video performance and image fidelity by enhancing colour, brightness, contrast, and sharpness. Also, 6 preset video modes (Scenery, Theater, Game, Night View, sRGB and Standard) can be selected via a hotkey.

The Asus VS247H will compete with the Dell ST2410 LED backlit monitor, which also hovers around the same price range.
