Asus seems to have made it a point of developing fantastic products that no one can afford... at least here in India. Over at CeBIT 2007, they have demonstrated their new gaming monitor called the PG221. This new 22-inch monitor has a native screen resolution of 1680x1050 and comes with a mindboggling response time of 2ms. Apart from that it has 3 USB hubs, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300cd/m2 brightness, touch-sensitive controls and a range of inputs including DVI, D-Sub, composite, S-Video and component. The monitor also sports an integrated 1.3 MP webcam, and a 2.1 audio speaker system that utilizes SRS TruSurround XT to achieve the effect of a 5.1. Release dates and pricing of the product remains unknown. |
