Philips Launches a New Range of LED Backlit and LCD Monitors

Philips today announced a wide range of new Philips LCD, LED Monitors and Monitor TVs which will mark a market revitalization campaign for Philips in India.

One of the product highlights is the Ultra-Slim Philips Blade LED backlit monitor, which has a pretty thin profile with a 12.9mm chassis. Philips says that the design is inspired by skating blades and that its slim silhouette is a study in elegance and function.


The Monitors are packed with Philips proprietary image technologies and feature many smart display technologies. One of which is SmartImage, which lets you select various image profiles such as Office, Image, Entertainment and Economy. The monitors also include SmartControl Premium, which is an icon based GUI which lets the user fine-tune a wide range of parameters as per his or her liking.
