While all motherboard manufacturers will be busy showing off motherboards based on AMD’s new 990FX chipsets at Computex this year, ASUS might actually demonstrate the processor on some of their boards at Computex. ASUS is holding an event an even they’re calling “Experience the ROG Revolution”. The article was posted first by techinstyle.tv, an ASUS site. The images show a large ASUS heatsink on top of a chipset and a side view of a 8-power connector, and yet another heatsink. The interest bit is that there’s supposed to be something interesting in their new motherboard. Sneak peak at what's in store for tomorrow's event
It appears that the event to be some kind of an experience zone where enthusiasts can get to see the ASUS boards in action, and obviously with the AMD Bulldozer processor on one or some of them. So far, AMD’s upcoming and highly anticipated processor hasn’t been shown off by anyone but AMD. If the rumours are true and the processor is in fact going to be shown off tomorrow, the official launch may not be too far away.
