MSI Introduces New Mobo For AM2 Platform

MSI has introduced a new CrossFireX and Hybrid CrossFireX Ready board - MSI DKA790GX - for the AMD AM2+ platform. Apart from featuring onboard VGA, this board also supports Hybrid CrossFireX technology.

The ATI Hybrid CrossFireX boosts 3D performance by enabling the chipset's integrated graphics processor and a discrete GPU to operate simultaneously with combined output to a single display.

The DKA790GX comes with a flat circu-pipe cooling solution with a bigger sink surface. This special design has enhanced heat dissipation performance. The processor power supply of DKA790GX series has 5 phases and can support 140W CPUs. Through MSI's design, it allows power supply to become more stable and reduces the heat produced, especially during huge overclocking.

The MSI DKA790GX will be priced at Rs. 15000 and will be available by the end of this week in India.
