SiS Launches Chipset For Core2Duo Platform

SiS has announced its new SiS671FX chipset, for Intel's Core2Duo processors. The new SiS671FX supports C2D processors up to 1066 MHz FSB. The chipset has integrated graphics, which are provided by the new Mirage 3 graphics core. The new core has full DX9 support and can therefore run Windows Vista with its new Aero GUI. The new SiS671FX also supports Smart Dynamic Clock Gating technology, which can control the GPUs speed according to the load. The chipset, also supports other regular features such as PCIe, PCI, USB 2.0 and Hi-Def. audio. |
