AMD launched the Fusion platform a few months back and we’ve seen manufacturers designing board-CPU solutions with a ton of features on them. ZOTAC, a brand best known not only for manufacturing NVIDIA graphics cards but also for making a few boards for different platforms, has now launched their own line of Fusion boards. The new series is called the ZOTAC Fusion-ITX WiFi A-Series. AMD Fusion powered delivered by ZOTAC's new lineup
The ZOTAC platform uses the standard AMD E-350 1.6 GHz APU that’s used on all other Fusion solutions so far. The graphics solution onboard the solution is the Radeon HD 6310. There are two DDR3 1066 MHz memory slots that can hold upto 8 GB of memory in all. There is also a PCIe x4 slot that can be used for some expansion cards, such as a sound card, for example. USB 3.0 is supported on four of the 10 ports in all, which include the ones that require port extenders. There are also four SATA 6 Gbps ports as well as a single eSATA one. A Gigabit Ethernet adapter is integrated on the board and so is a 802.11n Wi-Fi adapter. The board comes in a mini-ITX form factor, which is ideally for low-power HTPC solutions. The boards are priced at around Rs. 8,555 and carry a three year warranty. |
