Samsung has announced the launch of three new portable multimedia players for the second half of 2009. The R1, R0 and M1 are compatible with DivX, enabling users to play content without the need to convert files. Samsung’s new trio of players, with easy “Drag & Drop” operation, gives users the freedom to enjoy audio/video libraries anywhere, anytime. Samsung’s DNSe 3.0 (Digital Natural Sound Engine) also ensures the highest possible sound quality. All three portable multimedia players will be on display at IFA 2009. Samsung’s R1 is the slimmest and most user-friendly DivX touch player in its class. It is also the world’s first DivX certified MP3 player with a dynamic, 2.6-inch wide touch screen. Samsung’s R0 is a study in practicality with tactile keys for easy operation in the dark. The MicroSD slot for expandable memory also frees the user from memory constraints. Samsung’s Premium M1 features a 3.3-inch wide AMOLED touch screen that provides the most impressive video quality. The M1 shares many of the best features including DNSe sound enhancement, MicroSD slot, built-in stereo speaker, FM radio, voice recording and Bluetooth capabilities, scratch-resistant metal design and customizable flash-based widgets. The M1, R1 and R0 will be available in 8GB, 16GB. |
