ModeLabs Group, the customized design manufacturer, is in the news again and this time they’ve designed a mobile handset for MTV called the MTV3.3 mobile - the first music channel 3G slider mobile. The French Mobile company, SFR and MTV with ModeLabs Group have joined forces to create a new mobile offer intended mainly for young users. The offer features four new limited-time plans, with no risk of surcharges, plus exclusive access to all of MTV for this ModeLabs-designed product. This handset makes it easier to access MTV’s content in mobile mode and is boosting its multi-channel distribution strategy. The MTV3.3 sports a 2.2 inch high-resolution screen, a 2 megapixel camera, a video/audio player and recorder compatible with AAC and MP3 formats. It also comes with embedded MTV content, from videos and logos to exclusive wallpapers, original ringtones created by DJ Cut Killer and the MTV Cribs mobile game. The handset also includes the HotScan application that provides permanent access to MTV news videos. An accessory called the MTV Bluetooth kit also developed by ModeLabs Technologies is available for the phone. It’s a 2-in-1 headset incorporates Surround Sound System (SRS) technology, as well as six different music moods: Pop, Rock, Truebass, Jazz, Classic and Basic. The handset will be available by April 23 but unfortunately only in France at the moment through SFR stores and their retail outlets and is priced at approximately Rs. 3,092 (€49) which is a rather affordable pricing. Presumably this could be because of specific plans it would be offered with. |
