Samsung to Launch Reasonably Priced Corby Mate B3310 in India

| by Shayne Rana | Mobile phones

The Samsung Corby may very well be on its way to being one of those extremely popular, soon to be replaced by a newer model, mobile phones. In fact the Samsung India Mobile website is already featuring a new Corby handset the Corby mate or the B3310.

The handset was featured at IFA which we covered LIVE last month. The design might be a little unorthodox but it does offer a certain ease of use.

It features -
  • a 2 inch TFT LCD with a 240 x 320 pixel resolution
  • GPRS
  • Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, USB 2.0
  • 2 megapixel camera
  • FM radio
  • MicroSD card support
The handset would also offer users an easy access to social and IM networks and the QWERTY keypad which is a little small and seemingly cramped will take a little getting used to. Thankfully it won’t take too long. The UI is fluid and offers a lot of easy access to features that would appeal to the social networking audience.

The B3310 hasn’t officially been announced yet but we can tell you how much it will cost. It is priced at Rs. 7300.
