Following the anticipated W880i launch, Sony Ericsson is also attending to K-series users with the launch of the new K810 and K550 Cybershot phones. The K810 comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera, complete with auto-focus and a Xenon flash, much like the K790i/K800, but the phone is only 17mm slim. It also has a secondary VGA camera for video calling. This is a tri-band GSM and 3G/UMTS device. It comes with the now standard Memory Stick Micro memory card slot and Bluetooth support. The K550 reminds one of the K750i, coming with a 2 megapixel camera and a simple LED-based flash, but it'll turn heads because it's also thin at just 14mm. This device is quad-band GSM and EDGE (no 3G), and also supports Memory Stick Micros and Bluetooth. |
