Samsung has announced the availability of the Samsung netbook - N130. Ultra-lightweight, stylish and functional, the N130 utilizes state-of-the-art Samsung technology to deliver great quality, design and performance. The N130 is available in black, white, sea blue, and peach pink and weighs in at 1.26 kg. It has a 10.1" non-gloss LED display that provides sharper, brighter images, no mirror effect in sunny weather, a proper aspect ratio, and lower power consumption for optimum mobility. Samsung maintains that just one battery charge will deliver up to 7.5 hours of power. The N130 incorporates a range of advanced communications technologies including factory options for 802.11bg/n compliant or 802.11bgn wireless LAN and built-in 3G modem (HSPA/WiMAX/WiBRO) to enable high-speed access to the Internete. It also has a built-in microphone and headphone-out connection. With three USB 2.0 ports and a 3-in-1 memory card reader the N130 offers a comprehensive choice of data sharing tools. For added personal safety the N130 also features an anti-bacterial keyboard, coated with a special finish. This uses the latest hygiene technology to eliminate virtually all bacteria from what used to be the most unhygienic place in any home or office, creating a much safer computing environment. Update: The Samsung N130 will be available from early September for approximately Rs. 20,000. |
