You don’t need to wait to upgrade to a Bluetooth-enabled car stereo to stream music to your car from your phone – the new MBR-100 Bluetooth Music Receiver from Sony Ericsson will do it for you. The MBR-100 is a Bluetooth receiver supporting the A2DP profile for stereo music transfer. The device can be connected to your car stereo either using a regular 3.5mm stereo cable or RCA jacks on the rear for auxiliary input. It then needs to be paired to your phone (or any other Bluetooth A2DP device) and it takes it from there. Music played back on the phone will be audible from the car’s stereo system. The device is expected to last for around 12 hours of continuous music playback. Estimated to cost around $79.95 (Rs. 3,500 aproximately), the MBR-110 should be available in the first quarter of 2007. |
