Sify Launches WiMAX With Mobility Features

Sify has launched a first of its kind WiMAX solution with mobility features, in collaboration with Proxim wireless Corp. Proxim's Tsunami MP.11 product family of base stations, indoor and outdoor subscriber units and accessories has been developed to enable WiMAX capabilities for license-free bands. The series supports converged video, voice and data transmission in both fixed and mobile applications. |
