Asus Launches New Gaming Laptops

Endgadget has reported that Asus has launched two new laptops the G1 and G2 designed keeping gamers in mind. The base model G1, ships with a 15-inch screen and sports a green outer LED. The more powerful G2, ships with a 17-inch screen and is equipped with a red outer LED. In terms of specifications, both the laptops are built on Intel’s new 'Merom' platform, better known as the Core2Duo. Asus offers a wide range of processors to choose from, starting from the budget T5500 to the powerful T7600. They also offer 2 GB RAM, upto 160 GB HDD space and Lightscribe compatible dual-layer DVD burners. The graphics on these powerful machines will be powered by Go7700 graphics chipset for G1 and the ATI Mobility Radeon X1700 for the G2. Prices and immediate availability are unknown at this moment. |
