CES: Medion Announces UMPC

Medion, a German based firm which specializes in electronics, has announced that it will be shipping a UMPC based on Microsoft Origami platform. This device, which was displayed at Bill Gates CES address in Las Vegas, has an impressive specification list. The MD RIM 1000 sports a huge 6.5-inch touchscreen, 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, onboard GPS, DVB-T tuner and a webcam. It will be shipping on 30th January alongside Windows Vista. Pricing for this product is unknown at this time. |
