Sahara has added three new tablets to its 'tabletKiosk' lineup with all of them running Microsoft's Vista. The three new tablets are the i440D, i440T, and the i417T. All have similar features that include a 12.1 inch XGA screen, "TruePrint" fingerprint reader, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, 802.11 a/b/g WiFi, 802.11d QoS, a PCMCIA slot, and up to 4GB of RAM. The difference lies in the i417T — it has a 1.2 GHz Intel Celeron M ULV (ultra low voltage) processor where as the other two have a 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo LV (Low Voltage) processor. The i440D has an active digitizer display. An active digitizer display takes input from a special type of stylus. The other two, i440T, and i417T have a touch screen display. For more read here. |
