Dell Introduces Laptops Powered By AMD

In a good move, Dell has started shipping their first laptops that are powered by AMD processors. The first model to feature an AMD Processor is the Inspiron 1501. Dell is thoughtfully offering AMD's entire range of mobile processors i.e. the Sempron, the Turion 64 and the dual-core Turion 64 X2 chips. The new laptop's base model which retails at $549 offers a Sempron processor, a widescreen 15.4 inch display, a 80 GB HDD and 512 MB of system memory. |
