Dell Introduces Ubuntu Based Inspiron

DOCUME%7E1/jm/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot.jpg" alt="" />Dell has added yet another member, to their recently introduced Ubuntu based Inspiron line of laptops. The new model is the 14.1 Inch Inspiron 1420N which comes with Ubuntu 7.04 and is based on the Santa Rosa platform. Anyone looking to purchase this laptop will be able to choose from a range of Core 2 Duo processors (T5250/T5450/T7100/T7300/T7500), Intel X3100 graphics, up to 4 GB OF RAM, 160 GB HDD and a dual-layer DVD burner.

The base configuration of the 1420N starts at a price of US$774 and can go up to $2100 depending on the configuration.
