| Dell has launched the Latitude D620 and Latitude D820 powered by Intel Core Duo processors. It brings a much needed refresh to the corporate mobility line of laptops. One can say Dell was a little late in the Core Duo game, considering companies such as HP, Toshiba, and Lenovo have already incorporated dual core into their latest releases. Weighing in at 4.4 pounds, the Latitude D620 includes an Intel Core Duo T2300 processor and a 14.1-inch wide aspect XGA display. The D820 weighs in at 5.6 pounds and features a 15.4-inch wide aspect XGA display. Common points between both laptops are 512 MB DDR2 shared memory, 40 GB SATA hard drive and 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi capability. Both D620 and D820 are fully compatible with Latitude notebook accessories shipped since 2003.The new systems feature a three-year limited warranty with Next-Business-Day On-site Service. |
