We all love Dell’s Latitude series simply for its superb execution and attention to detail. The PC giant has now expanded its line-up by introducing a new model called the XT3 in India, which is sort of a tablet-cum-notebook hybrid. This little slate does not come cheap though, as prices start at 1 lakh. The target audience for this would be the IT industry and corporate organizations.

The XT3 uses the same magnesium alloy throughout the notebook just like the other models. Switching the notebook to tablet mode simply requires you to tilt the screen, which works in either direction. The screen size is just 13.3 inches, so it should be relatively easy to use single-handed. It’s powered by Intel’s Core i5-2520M Sandy Bridge processor and also features WiMAX and mobile broadband. The battery pack features ExpressCharge which charges the battery to 80 percent in an hour. The rest of the specifications are configurable by the user depending on one's needs. The touchscreen also supports digital pen input along with finger input. While Dell haven’t displayed the pricing for the different iterations of the notebook, it’s on the site, so you could send them an e-mail to get a quote on what's available.
