Dell has launched two new models of their Alienware gaming notebook range. The two models being launched are the M14x and the M11x. The M14x uses a 14-inch (1600x900) WLED display whereas the M11x has a 11.6-inch (1366x768) display. Both the notebooks use the new Intel Sandy Bridge line of Core i processors to power them. Gaming on the Go!
The higher end M14x model uses a NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M graphics solution whereas the M11x uses a slower GeForce GT 540M GPU. Dell has used speakers from Klipsch on both the products. The Dell Alienware M14x like the other models weighs quite a bit - a little less than 3 kg in this case. Support for upto 8GB of memory is available on the M14x and up to 16GB on the smaller M11x. Users can opt for the optional WiMax connectivity module which should allow access to wireless high-speed internet connectivity. The M11x also comes in a soft touch Nebula Red finish. |
