Toshiba Introduces 4G WiMAX-Ready Laptops

Toshiba's Digital Products Division, a division of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., today rolled out a range of premium 4G WiMAX-ready laptops 1, designed to give consumers broader wireless coverage all over town, not just at wireless hotspots.

WiMAX is currently available in 54 cities nationwide in the United States.

Select models of Toshiba's premium consumer laptops will include built-in WiMAX technology.

Satellite A665

The Satellite A665 laptop blends Toshiba's new Fusion X2 styling with multimedia performance to boost high-def entertainment, productivity and creativity. Offering a 16-inch diagonal HD TruBrite widescreen display, a premium audio package, the latest Intel Core processors and optional NVIDIA GeForce graphics, as well as a suite of exclusive convenience-driven features like Sleep and Music for enjoying music through the speakers without having to power up, the Satellite A665 provides major horsepower for fast multitasking and a perfect palette for brilliant multimedia.
