Wipro launches the e.go Aero Ultrabook

Wipro Infotech has announced the launch of its e.go Aero range of ultraportable notebooks, which includes India’s slimmest and first 14-inch Ultrabook, called the e.go Aero Ultra. From the 11.6-inch ultra-light notebook to the slimmest 14-inch Ultrabook, the e.go Aero comprises of a wide range of mobile computing devices to suit the needs of the users. The range comprises of e.go Aero Alpha, e.go Aero Book and e.go Aero Ultra. The e.go Aero Alpha is an efficient, optimal and light notebook; just right for everyday workloads. Powered by Intel Core i processors, the e.go Aero Alpha comes in pristine white, with contoured edges and a clamshell design. The e.go Aero Book is a powerful, but light notebook. Powered by the latest 2nd Generation Intel Core i5 processors and a 11.6-inch LED HD display, this notebook has a very slim profile.  With a planner-book styling in a small size, the e.go Aero Book is for those who value style and substance.

The e.go Aero Ultra is the ultra-slim Ultrabook that’s built with magnesium alloy. With about 19.3mm thickness, this is the slimmest 14-inch Ultrabook to make a debut in India. The feature-rich slim Ultrabook, e.go Aero Ultra sports a 14-inch LED backlit HD display and weighs just 1.7 kg. It comes packed with 4GB memory and a 500GB hard disk, and comes preloaded with OEM Windows 7 and Microsoft Office Starter kit. The laptop has an isolation keyboard and a large multi-gesture touch pad. It incorporates new Intel technologies, such as Intel Rapid Start, Intel Smart Response and Intel Smart Connect, which enables an always connected state. The e.go Aero range is aggressively positioned between Rs.39,900 to sub Rs.49,000 price points, depending on the configuration.
