Toshiba is not stopping for anyone. It's been only short a while since their second-generation HD-DVD players were released. The latter have yet to hit the Indian market, but Toshiba is making things even more dynamic by planning the launch of its third generation HD-DVD players at CEDIA next month.

The three models (HD-A3, HD-A30 and HD-A35) will retail for $299, $399 and $499 respectively, and will be available from October 1. The high-end models will be full HD, capable of 1080p.
