Warhammer Online to Release on September 18

After making fans wait for a while now, the Age of Reckoning is finally at hand! Warhammer Online has finally been dated for a September 18 release, with servers for 3 regions - North America, Europe and Oceanic going live simultaneously! The subscription fee will be $14.99 per month, or $41.97 and $77.94 for three and six months respectively. Here’s what Mark Jacobs, founder and general manager of Mythic Entertainment had to say: "For the last three years, the entire team at Mythic has poured their hearts into making Warhammer Online the next great MMORPG… We are so excited to open up this world and share it with the fans that will live in it, quest in it, go to war in it and make it come alive." While this might be great news for some of you, it’s terrible news for me! This means that I’m going to go broke next month, since there are so many awesome titles coming up (watch out for our ‘Upcoming Games of September’ article); I could really do without one more MMO leeching out my money! (I just bought Age of Conan!) |
