Over the past few years, the rise in sales in the console gaming market has affected the PC gaming industry adversely. According to Mercury News, figures collected by the NPD Group point that although the sales figures in the PC gaming industry have been plummeting gradually, thanks to Blizzard's World of Warcraft and a few other titles, things are changing for the better. The PC gaming industry grew by 1% this year, which isn't much when compared to the console industry, but it's a ray of hope nevertheless. Here is a list of the Top 10 PC gaming titles according to NPD: 1. World of Warcraft 2. The Sims 2 3. The Sims 2: Open for Business 4. Star Wars: Empire at War 5. The Sims 2: Pets 6. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion 7. Age of Empires III 8. The Sims 2: Family Stuff 9. Civilization IV 10. The Sims 2: Nightlife |
