Crysis 2 Co-op Mod in The Pipelines

Man I love PC gaming, but I love the modding community even more. These dedicated and talented bunch of gamers through hard work and creativity can completely change a base game around offering gamers a whole new experience. And best of all, they make it available to the community absolutely FREE!

Everything's better in co-op

Crysis was modded to hell by the community with all sorts of gameplay and visual tweaks. Its predecessor, Crysis 2 is getting one better in the form of a co-op mode that will add co-operative gameplay for up to four players in Crytek’s latest first person shooter. This mod is being developed by a bunch of amateur programmers using the recently released SDK (Software Development Kit) from Crytek.

This update comes to us from PCgames.de, a German site and since Google translator isn’t the most helpful of tools, this is all the information we have, as of now. But don’t worry, we'll keep you posted, as soon as we hear anything ourselves. Can’t wait to try this bad boy out!
