Everybody DANCE! Now...

14 Oct, 2006, 10:00 am IST | by Avinash Bali | PC

Bored of Dance Dance Revolution or Britney's Dance Beat (or whatever that crap's called)? Well you can now get your groove on, with DANCE!, a new MMORPG brought to you by Acclaim. Unlike most MMORPGS in the market today, DANCE! will be totally free and will sustain itself on in-game ads. Here's what the game's all about:

By keeping in sync with the beat, players will be able to perfect their dancing skills that range from basic steps to the wildest club-style dance moves with amazing choreography. And all to the beat of their favorite tracks since DANCE! will also feature chart topping hits from the hottest music artists in the world. Music will be available in a variety of styles and genres offering something for every music fan.

As a multiplayer online game, players can also make new friends and compete in battles to see who can keep up. They can even go back and replay their own dance music video. One of the more unique aspects of the game is the couples system. In DANCE!, male and female characters can find their perfect mate, fall in love, enter couples competitions, and even get married.

Head over to the game's official site to register yourself for the beat... I mean beta.
