Indian game distributor e-xpress Interactive recently announced a new, lower price for the PC version of popular game Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. The new price for Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is Rs. 499 across all major retailers in India. Assassin’s Creed is one of the most popular games today. The series has an interesting plot that takes place in the near future, along with plots occuring in certain periods of history, such as the time of the Holy Crusades in Assassin's Creed 1, the Renaissance in Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, and the rise of Constantinople in Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.
Assassin’s Creed: Revelations was released in October 2011 across India through e-xpress Interactive Software. The original price of the PC version of the game on launch was Rs. 699 through retail and $49.99 on Steam.
Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is the final chapter in the story of Florentine nobleman-turned-assassin Ezio Auditore as he follows the footsteps of his legendary mentor, Altair on a journey of discovery and revelation. The game shifts its focus from Renaissance era Italy to the heart of the Ottoman Empire, Constantinople, where a growing army of Templars threatens to destabilize the region.
The game features all of the best things from the previous Assassin’s Creed games, such as the double hidden blades introduced in Assassin’s Creed 2, and the assassin’s brotherhood system introduced in Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. Also of note is the multiplayer component which has been much improved from its Brotherhood iteration with new maps and characters.

However, some things about the game have gone horribly wrong. The worse thing about the game is the somewhat mandatory tower defense missions dubbed Den Defense. This is where you have to order a bunch of assassins to stand on the roofs of various buildings and kill armies of Templars that are trying to destroy your stronghold. This is easily the weakest new thing about the game.
Revelations also introduced bombs into the series, with a pretty in-depth bomb crafting system. You could craft a variety of bombs, from something as simple as a caltrops bomb to help you escape, to the hilarious-to-use-in-the-middle-of-civilians poison gas bombs.
The upcoming Assassin’s Creed III will take place during the American fight for Independence, and is to feature a new protagonist by the name of Connor.
The Assassin’s Creed series deals with a secret war that has lasted millennia between the Assassins and the Templars. The Assassins seek to fight for the free will of people, while the Templars seek to control them. The first game was set during the Holy Crusades, in Jerusalem. Protagonist Altaïr ibn-La'Ahad would have to jump from rooftops and sneak into groups of people in order to find and assassinate his targets.
The second game was set during the Renaissance era, in Florence. The main protagonist of the “II” series of games (which are Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations) is Ezio Auditore. The II series of games dealt with the evolution of Ezio as a character, who starts out as a revenge-driven teenager only to become a highly-skilled master of Assassins. Altaïr also makes an appearance in Revelation, showing the aged assassin’s last few days. The secondary protagonist of the series is Desmond Miles, who is accessing his “genetic memory” to live the lives of his Ancestors Altaïr and Ezio.
