Amidst tons of frenzied gamers, one Bollywood actor who goes by the name of Kunal Kapoor and one excited VJ - Nikhil Chinappa, EA released Will Wright's magnum opus, Spore, in India for just Rs. 999. Spore gives players their own personal universe in a box. Create and evolve life, establish tribes, build civilizations, sculpt entire worlds and explore a universe filled with creations made by others around the world. It gives players a wealth of creative tools to customize nearly every aspect of their universe: creatures, vehicles, buildings, and even spaceships. And here's what Ajay Khanna, general manager of EA India had to say, "Spore is exactly what the Indian gaming scene needed. Spore will introduce a new concept into gaming in India. The blend of fun, science, evolution and an online community through a great story and easy game play is groundbreaking. All these elements come together to deliver on Will Wright’s big idea – to create and control your own personal universe. Spore is an extraordinary game that has the potential to become a platform for creativity, and innovation for years to come." We've already spoken about the creature creator and published an overview to help you get acquainted with the Spore universe. Expect our review soon. |
