Steam offers Tomb Raider games at kickass prices

Lara Croft celebrated her 15th anniversary yesterday and in honour of everyone’s favourite (female) archaeologist, Steam have slashed the prices of three Tomb Raider games. Tomb Raider: Anniversary, an HD remake of Lara’s first adventure is now available for just $3.39 (Rs. 166)  while Tomb Raider Legend will set you back by $5.09 (Rs. 249). Her final adventure, Tomb Raider Underworld is also up for sale and is now available for just $6.79 (Rs. 332).

Lara Croft will return in an all new avatar with the new Tomb Raider Reboot scheduled for a 2012 release. In it, Lara must overcome a hostile island and its nasty inhabitants after her ship gets torn apart by a nasty storm. The game sports a darker tone than what you’re used to in most Tomb Raider games and will push Lara to the very edge of her sanity. Check out this highly claustrophobic gameplay trailer from E3 2011.
