TrackMania 2 Canyon Dated

12 Aug, 2011, 11:48 am IST | by Avinash Bali | PC

The TrackMania series has established itself as a highly enjoyable arcade racer over the years. Even since TrackMania United was released in 2007, there’s been no activity on developer Nadeo’s front at least as far as PC games were concerned (they came out with a Wii and DS game in the meantime). And now after nearly four years, PC gamers can get back into the driver’s seat with TrackMania 2 Canyon, this September.

Gamers interested in this title can pre-purchase it from the official site for Rs. 1,400 ($32) approximately. Doing so will grant them access to the game’s multiplayer beta that will kick off on that very same day. Like its predecessors, TrackMania 2 will also grant players a pretty flexible map editor through which they can crank out some crazy imaginative tracks. In fact, like the LittleBigPlanet series, TrackMania games have always benefitted from an active community that greatly enhances the life of the game.

TrackMania 2 Canyon will release by the 14th of September 2011 for the PC.
