Free MotorStorm Apocalypse DLC Out Now

Evolution Studios, the makers of the MotorStorm series have a special treat in store for Apocalypse owners in the form of an update that brings with it a plethora of content. And best of all, it’s absolutely FREE!

According to the PlayStation Blog, this update kicks off with a brand new day and night track called The Rock and here’s what it brings to the game:

“The stage for this After Party is an abandoned prison island near the bay, known to the lunatic racers and ravers as The Rock. Multiple routes have been carved into the island’s varied terrain, so expect off-road racing action reminiscent of the legendary island in the Pacific Rift.”

A bunch of fresh single player races have also been added to the mix via the Special Events pack that is included in this update (future packs will free as well). Besides the new content you also have a bunch of tweaks for in-game vehicles as well as an update for the games servers which now apparently make the experience “more robust and reliable”. This update is an auto update that’ll kick in the next time you take your game online.
