MotorStorm returns this March

| by Avinash Bali | PlayStation 3

MotorStorm, Sony’s very own off-road arcade racer returns this March for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, according to Sony’s official PlayStation blog. Unlike games like Burnout, the MotorStorm series has always been about off-road, cut-throat racing amidst terribly aggressive AI. The last MotorStorm game, MotorStorm Apocalypse allowed players to race through apocalyptic scenarios, exciting and frustrating in equal measure.

Now, this challenging series is back in an all new remote controlled avatar with MotorStorm: RC. The game supports cross-play between the PlayStation 3 and the Vita which means once you purchase the game, it becomes available on both those platforms. So let’s say you start playing MotorStorm: RC on the PS3 and have to rush out on a long trip, you can continue from where you left off on your PS Vita. The PS3 version is all enhanced by "1080p HD visuals, stereoscopic 3D, SimulView same-screen multiplayer and classic four-player split-screen multiplayer."

MotorStorm: RC releases for the PS3 and PS Vita by the 6th of March 2012.
