Twisted Metal goes gold

| by Avinash Bali | PlayStation 3

Twisted Metal, the latest iteration in Sony’s Twisted Metal series has gone gold and is on track for its February 14th release date according to a post made on Sony’s PlayStation blog. In case you’re not too familiar with this series, Twisted Metal was a vehicular combat game that achieved cult like status on the PlayStation 2. Dave Jaffe, the creator of God of War along with his team at Eat Sleep Play have been working hard on the PlayStation 3 debut of this series since a while now. Gameplay mechanics have largely stayed the same with the addition of better visuals, more vehicles and newer modes.
