Aigo A215 has a 50-hour battery life!

21 Aug, 2006, 4:30 pm IST | by Aalaap Ghag | PMPs

One of the biggest problems with most portable media devices these days is the battery life, or the lack thereof. Aigo's latest A215 MP3/WMA player boasts of an outstanding 50-hour battery life. The display is a mono LCD screen and the unit doesn't have any FM tuner. Also, the 50-hour battery life seems to only apply to MP3 and not to WMA files, for which it maxes out at 35. Compare this to Sony Walkmans that offer 30 hour battery life when playing ATRAC3plus files and a bit less when dealing with MP3s! The Aigo A215 2GB model should be Rs. 6,200 (converted from £69.99 or $132). aigo-a125-2gb-50-hour-mp3-player.png
