Creative Announces Zen X-Fi2 In India

Cyberstar Infocom Pvt. Ltd., one of the emerging distributors of IT peripherals, networking products and components in India and SAARC, announced the release of the Creative ZEN X-Fi 2, featuring a 3-inch touch screen and Creative’s award-winning Xtreme Fidelity X-Fi audio technology.


“Creative ZEN X-Fi has already been well received in the market” says Raj Rathi, Founder and CEO of Cyberstar Infocom (P) Ltd.  “With the Creative ZEN X-Fi2 media player, Creative proves its commitment in providing the best to the users each time and we are extremely happy to be part of the launch of this astounding piece of entertainer from Creative”, he concludes.

The X-Fi 2 comes with multi- format support including iTunes Plus and FLAC (lossless) files. It offers video-out capability for viewing videos and photos on a TV (PAL or NTSC in stereo) through an optional cable. Other features include -
  • Creative’s X-Fi Crystalizer to restore the highs and lows to music during playback that was lost during the ripping process
  • X-Fi Expand to move and expand the sound forward for a natural listening experience
  • RSS content feeds offline (Sync via PC/laptop connected to Internet)
  • A microSD card slot
  • Built-in speaker
  • Video format support for DivX and XviD formats
  • Built-in microphone for voice recording
  • FM radio with 32 presets
  • Clock / Alarm / Calendar / Task / Contacts Functions (Sync with Microsoft Outlook via PC/laptop)
The Zen X-Fi 2 PMP will be available in 8GB, 16GB & 32GB models. Pricing has not yet been announced. The next generation X-Fi is expected to have improved audio playback across all modes of entertainment including music, video and the FM radio. Let’s hope so.
