Dell DJ Ditty Declared Dead

24 Aug, 2006, 4:30 pm IST | by Aalaap Ghag | PMPs

The unpopular, uninteresting flash-based digital audio player from Dell called DJ Ditty has finally been put to rest. The DJ Ditty had a tiny mono LCD screen and didn't offer any features that made it worth the $99 price tag. You could get 1 GB players for far less than that. Naturally, the product hadn't been doing well, so Dell pulled the plug on the dying DJ Ditty and replaced the Ditty page on the Dell website with a page not found message that starts with "We're sorry..." Yes, Dell, you should be. How did you think anyone would actually say "My Ditty is in my pocket" or "I'm gonna download some music into my Ditty"?
