iPod Touch sans Home Button Spotted

| by Sriram Gurunathan | PMPs

Remember when we told you that Apple was considering killing off the home button on their devices? Well, it seems that has now maybe come true, what with a home button-less iPod Touch doing the rounds of the rumour mill.

Apple likes touch buttons and cannot lie?

Leaked pictures on CrunchGear show an iPod Touch that has had its home button replaced by a capacitive touch button instead, thus leading to a completely button-less, touch-based front of the device. The PMP also has an aluminium back panel and a capacity of 128GB, double the 64GB max found in iPod Touches today.

Home much of this is true? As always, we cannot tell. Regardless, we’d like to see some concrete changes to next edition of the iDevices, instead of cosmetic stuff like this, even if it does end up reducing the physical wear and tear on the device in the long run.
