| Apple has launched a special edition of the iPod for die hard U2 fans, in a partnership with U2 and Universal Music Group (UMG). The fifth generation edition has 30 GB of space, an engraving of the U2 band members' signatures on the cover and 30 minutes of U2 video downloadable from iTunes music store. Apple has upgraded the previous U2 edition (2004), by adding 10 gigabytes and revising its price. This edition uses Auto-Sync technology, which automatically downloads music, podcasts, audiobooks, movies, videos, TV shows and even updates them whenever the iPod is plugged into a Mac or Windows computer. The new U2 edition includes a package of ear bud headphones, USB 2.0 cable, a case and dock insert. The black stainless steel look with the red click dial gels perfectly with the U2 theme and the entire package costs $329. However, as of now, this edition is not available in all countries. |
