Philips Could Announce HD Supported PMP

29 Sep, 2009, 11:02 am IST | by Shayne Rana | PMPs

This is nothing that Philips has officially announced yet but the grapevine is that the company is planning on launching an HD video PMP that could be called the SA075. An image has popped up on a couple of sites as well, but like I said the company hasn’t mentioned it so far.

The reports  are talking about the device having a display with an 800 x 480 pixel resolution that will feature touchscreen capabilities as well as an HDMI out. They’re also saying that the PMP will support full HD video playback, which means an output resolution of 1080p.

Could this be the latest addition to their GoGear range of media devices? Let’s wait and see what Philips has to say.
