TrekStor MP3 Player at Rs 9,40,000!

12 Sep, 2006, 11:00 am IST | by Aalaap Ghag | PMPs

If your fancy new Nano with its shiny, silver back doesn't quite do your bling meter much good, then you should consider the TrekStor i.beat organix Gold Edition that has made its way on to Amazon's pre-order list for a whopping US$19,999.99, which is around Rs 9,40,000. Yes, nine lakh, forty thousand rupees. So you can either take the Skoda Octavia to work, or the TrekStor DAP.

Supposedly the idea of Russian billionnaire and owner of the Midland Formula One team, TrekStor was contracted to design this expensive toy. And what does it offer other than pure, 18 karat gold and 63 diamonds lined along the two-color OLED display? 1 GB of storage space, MP3/WMA/ASF/OGG/WAV playback and an FM tuner, too. Rs 9,40,000 for the absolutely blingy MP3 player and the best part is that it also qualifies for free super saver shipping!
