Zune-like Wireless Audio Player Launched

03 Nov, 2006, 5:49 pm IST | by Aalaap Ghag | PMPs

While the west waits for the Zune, the east goes ahead and integrates wireless capabilities into their digital audio players already. Korean manufactuere, CAU Digital has a new player that looks like a hybrid of the iPod Nano and the LG Chocolate. With this, you can use two pairs of wireless headphones, both tuned into the same player. It doesn't exactly integrate WiFi or Bluetooth, but it does work on the same 2.4GHz band. Unlike the Zune, this doesn't let you send an MP3 wirelessly to the other unit, but it's an interesting approach. I doubt this will ever make it to India.
