| by Karan Shah | Pocket projectors

Tech2 is currently at Computex 2012 and we’re seeing a range of interesting products from various manufacturers around the world. One that particularly caught our eye was AzureWave’s ButterStream W2 pico projector. This mini projector is built on Google’s Android operating system and comes with integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, allowing flexible, handy and effective wireless, sharing of media as well as documents streamed over the Internet. The ButterStream W2 has a lightweight and compact footprint and has the capability to project an image size of up to 120 inches, which is pretty impressive. From what can be seen of the device, it comes with a concise design with a brushed metal finish and a couple of connectivity options, along the sides.

This pico projector may well be one of the few projectors running on Android and though we don’t have a hands-on of the device yet, it looks like an interesting proposition. Along with a USB 2.0 port, SD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth your connectivity options are pretty well taken care of.
