Casio has just announced a brand new ultra compact to their range of consumer cameras - the Exilim EX-Z29. Here are the details: * 10.1 Megapixel CCD * F2.8-5.2, 3X optical zoom lens, equivalent to 37.5 - 112.5 mm * 2.7" LCD display with 114,960 pixels * Point-and-shoot operation * Digital image stabilization and face detection features * Records movies at 848 x 480 with sound * 17.8MB onboard memory + SD/SDHC card slot * Uses NP-60 lithium-ion battery; no battery life numbers available * Slim body comes in black, pink, blue, silver, and purple Bill Heuer, Vice President of Sales for Digital Imaging Division at Casio America, Inc. had this to say: "Casio is dedicated to creating digital cameras that feature superior technology while maintaining an ease of use for the consumer. We continue to be a leader in the digital camera industry, providing fun and convenient ways to capture quality photographs." The camera's expected to launch in April, at a price of about USD $150. |
