FujiFilm is making huge headway with their EXR-CMOS sensor cameras. The Japanese corporation recently launched the FinePix F500 EXR camera in the Indian market and has now launched the FinePix F600 EXR compact point and shoot, which they claim is the ultimate travel companion. The FinePix F600 EXR has a 16-megapixel CMOS EXR sensor that features the new EXR Auto with Motion Detection capability to virtually reduce subject blur in lighting conditions.

The most unique feature of this camera is that its built-in GPS functionality adds a Landmark Navigator feature to help photographers pinpoint locations. Fujifilm claims that the FinePix F600 EXR automatically locates places of interest from its on-board database of around one million locations. It then displays these points on the camera's LCD, showing their relative position, distance from your current spot and type of location depending on a range of category icons. This functionality allows users to edit and add the names of locations. This feature also includes Photo Navigation that helps users find their way back to a previously photographed location and Tracking Data where users can create a route of their travels using Google Maps.
Apart from this the camera comes loaded with a host of interesting features such as the ability to capture full HD videos at 1080p and a 15x optical zoom a wide-reaching 15x optical zoom, which offers the 35mm equivalent of a 24-360mm lens. The 16MP BSI CMOS sensor along with the EXR technology allows users to capture images in a wide range of lighting conditions.
