Tech-Com Launches 6MP Digicam

Tech-Com has launched DSC-601, a digital camera equipped with 6.18 megapixel (8.0 megapixel via interpolation) CCD. It has an internal memory of 32 MB and supports external SD/MMC cards.

Tech-Com DSC-601 digital camera features a 2.0-inch LCD screen, and a high-quality 5x digital zoom function. The device is also capable of recording VGA movies with sound at 24 frames per second. Its movie mode records 640x480 or 320x240 motion video at 15 or 24fps with audio.

With DSC-601, movie clips are saved as Windows AVI format video files, and the length of these movies is limited only by the amount of available memory. On the other hand, audio recordings are saved as Windows .wav format files.

This camera also supports editing functions trimming, rotation (base on the small image size).

The Tech-Com DSC-601 digital camera kit includes a USB cable, audio and video cable, wrist strap, and AA-size alkaline batteries as well as the software to provide digital camera solution.

Priced at Rs 5990, the camera is now available all over India.
