Transcend Introduces 2 New Portable HDDs

Transcend has announced the availability of 2 portable drives in India to complete its product line. The 2 new drives include an eye-catching portable hard drive, the chic StoreJet 25C, and StoreJet 25P, an all-new lightweight portable hard drive with a slim easy-to-carry design. Mr. Austin Huang, Regional Head - Sales, SAARC & APAC, Transcend, said, "USB powered portable hard drives are gaining immense popularity both in India and the worldwide markets because of their large capacity, compact size and cost-effectiveness. With the growing internet usage all around, we foresee both the individual users and businesses, both small and big, driving the demand for external portable hard drives because of their ever growing need for more data storage capacity." The StoreJet 25C has up to 320GB of storage space and Store Jet 25P is now available with a 250GB SATA hard drive. Both these drives are based on a USB 2.0 interface, come with support for improved productivity with its bundled StoreJet elite software that features Website AutoLogin, Mobile Favorites with NoTrace internet browsing, Secret-Zip file encryption, Mobile E-mail, Online Update and intelligent backup scheduling, security, and file compression functions. The drives also come with a protective soft drawstring travel pouch. The 250 GB StoreJet 25P costs Rs. 5500 and the 320 GB StoreJet 25C costs Rs. 9000. |
