Creative Adds More to The Zen Stone

The inbuilt speaker will be present in both models, the Zen stone and the Zen Stone plus with the display. Their storage capacities will also remain unchanged.

Available in elegant matte black, dark blue, pink or champagne, the new ZEN Stone players feature a smooth, contoured design and are still very tiny players. A translucent silicon skin with a clip is included with the box, and an armband and ultra-portable keychain with a tiny case that carries the player are additional accessories that are available separately.

“The ZEN Stone and ZEN Stone Plus with built-in speakers free people from having to wear headphones to listen to their portable music,” says Sim Wong Hoo, chairman and CEO of Creative. “They enable users to enjoy music when they are on a walk or in a group and want to enjoy a conversation or hear what's going on around them,” he adds. “It's hard to believe that such incredibly small players can have a speaker that sounds so good, enabling people to share their music with friends, without headphones.”

Everything about the players will remain unchanged with regards to the drag and drop feature for file transfer and 3.5mm earphone out. The ZEN Stone will be available in 1GB and 2GB models; the ZEN Stone Plus, with screen, FM radio, voice recording, clock/stopwatch and customizable equalizer settings, will be available in 2GB and 4GB models.

The availability and prices of the new Zen Stones will be out shortly, but the 1 GB model is expected soon so stay tuned.
